Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform – Level 3 (Dynamics 365 CE Technical Consultant) to join our team in Montreal. As a Dynamics 365 CE Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions, ensuring that client needs are met with scalable, efficient, and high-quality technical solutions. This role involves working closely with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 CE applications, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service modules.
Work with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions that align with business processes and objectives.
Develop and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports to enhance Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
Integrate Dynamics 365 CE with other systems (ERP, third-party applications) using APIs, Azure Logic Apps, or other integration tools.
Provide technical expertise during the solution design, development, and deployment phases of projects.
Customize forms, views, workflows, and plugins within Dynamics 365 CE to address business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and system maintenance as needed.
Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to best practices in Dynamics 365 solution development.
Collaborate with senior consultants and architects to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform technologies.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, with at least 3 years focused on technical configuration and customization.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in customizing Dynamics 365 CE, including entity creation, business rules, workflows, forms, and views.
Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), including building custom apps and automation flows.
Experience with Dynamics 365 CE integration, including using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
Proficiency in C# and JavaScript for creating plugins, custom actions, and client-side scripting.
Solid understanding of CRM data structures, SQL Server, and the Common Data Service (CDS).
Experience with solution deployment, version control, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices.
Business Analysis Skills:
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide recommendations for optimizing business processes using Dynamics 365 CE.
Experience in documenting technical solutions and creating user stories, functional specifications, and support materials.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and evolving client needs.
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate.
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate.
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate.
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
